If you are able to donate your time by making banners or icons to promote the April Author Auction (March 26-29), please leave them here for others to use! We will upload them periodically to THIS photobucket account where they are tagged with the artists' names and available to anyone who wants to snag them.

Graphics which feature fandom characters, ships, or even just general information about the auction dates and location would all be greatly appreciated! Examples of banners and icons made for previous auctions can be viewed HERE or HERE on our photobucket account.

Icons should be no more than 150x150 pixels and banners should be no more than 400 pixels wide x 200 pixels tall, with a limit of 4 banners per signature line. (Sorry! Our bandwidth isn't that high!)

I know it's a little early, but I already made some banners and icons for the April Auction. It's nothing special, but maybe you can use some of them.

Thanks. I'm glad I could do a little to help. I'm using one of those banners at Twilighted and one at a Harry Potter Fanfic site for non canon ships - Portkey. I started a topic over there about Support Stacie, too. Maybe some of the members would like to join the April Auction as author or bid on a fic.

I could make Banners for others Fandoms, too, I just wasn't sure which Fandoms will be present in the next auction, but thought I could be quite sure about Twilight and Harry Potter. I'm familar with X Files, Bones, Eureka, Ghost Whisperer, House M.D., Psych, Monk, Moonlight, NCIS, Lost, Star Wars, Tru Calling, True Blood (season 1) and Pirates of the Caribbean and have already made stuff for some of those.

As far as what fandoms to expect for the next auction, HERE is the list of who participated in the last big auction (Sept. 2009). I would expect the most active fandoms on that list to be for sure be involved again (DW, HP, Roswell, GG, Grey's, etc.), though there's no telling for certain, of course.

Please don't! That would be awful for my reputation! I'm terribly annoying in RL, really. Imagine a combination of Monk and Dr. House, but worse.

Seriously, I really enjoy making banners, although I don't consider myself talented. And I'm not sure if I'll sign up as an author (for Harry Potter or Twilight) for next auction, so I want to contribute in another way until I made up my mind. I've written Harry Potter Fanfics in English for years, but I'm still insecure because it's not my native language and I don't have a Beta yet.

I've greatly entertained myself by trying to imagine you with a combination of those extreme personality traits.



You do a great job with these! I'm just so thankful to already have promo banners available for so many of our fandoms, so far in advance! And I know we've discussed this before, but I always forget that English is not your native language, because you really don't give it away! I wish my Spanish (and I know my husband and son wish their German) was anywhere close to as fluent as your English!
